The effigy of Her Majesty Queen Victoria adorned the first coins issued by the Province of Canada (Colonies of Upper and Lower Canada).
Obverse: The braid is visible all around the ear but with very little detail. Reverse: Almost all leaves have at least half of the details. The denticles of the rim merge with the border.
