On July 28, 2020, the Royal Canadian Mint is releasing two new $2 circulation coins (one colored in red and black) to honor Bill Reid (1920-1998). Grizzly, a recurring subject in Reid’s paintings, sculptures and jewelry, occupies the reverse of this commemorative coin.
